Second Class 2019-2020
For S.E.S.E this week , 2nd class were learning about photography and how the camera and the photograph has changed down through the years. Mrs Garrihy decided to invite Róisín Coleman to our classroom to share some of her substantial knowledge on how the camera works. Róisín kindly brought her professional, and extremely heavy, camera to show us all the important parts of her camera. She also let each child use the lens to focus on near and far away objects and each got to take a photo of their friends. Some even managed to take one of their teacher! A lot of learning and fun was had! Thank you Róisín!
On Tuesday evening, January 14th, Mrs Considine's and Mrs Garrihy's second class, celebrated their First Reconciliation. It was a beautiful ceremony led by Fr Larkin and the two Fr Martin's. The choir provided music and song in the background, all adding to a very special occasion.
