A Colourful and Musical start to the New Year 

 The Circus
Our children had great fun learning new words about the circus and incorporating these words into our act activities. 
Room 21  created masterpieces of "myself" using paper plates, dog faces after learning all about pets and fabulous leaf rubbings and leaf people after their wonderful walk in the woods.
 Class had lots of fun during their experiment with water beads. The result was loved by all the children and the adults.

School Tour 2022

​The ASD class along with the MDSC went on their school tour to visit all the beautiful animals who are so well looked after in Moher Hill farm. The children were very gentle and kind to all the animals so their teachers decided they deserved a special treat in Lahinch on the way home. Everyone had a great day.

Horse riding 

The ASD/MDSC class enjoy their first trip to Niki for horse riding. Buttons, Gemma and Abby were delighted to have us visit. We really enjoyed horse riding in the Sunshine. Great fun was had by all

 Celebrating Autism Awareness Month with our Neurodiversity Art

March Madness in the MDSC.
​The children learned lots of new facts, developed lots of skills. They especially enjoyed developing their spatial awareness.

Rosie the Daisy by Meadbh Chambers 

The children in the  ASD class were lucky to get a chance to read " Rosie the Daisy". A new book by Meadbh Chambers. They also received a signed copy of this wonderful book. 

Celebrating St. Bridget's day and Rugby fun. 

We have been learning all about Winter this month. We enjoyed learning lots of new vocabulary and creating exciting art and completing science experiments. We also explored our five sense through making wonderful vegetable soup. ​

Room 21 are busy helping to feed our bird friends during winter.

September has been a very busy month in Room 22. It has been great fun and we are all very happy at school

Our new  Sensory Garden
The  children enjoying and investigating  the new water feature in our fabulous and colourful Sensory Garden.

We had great fun this week learning all about the restaurant. We learned about all the people who work at the restaurant. We learned about all the different types of food.  We learned lots of new vocabulary. We had great fun on Friday when we set up restaurant in Room 22 . Everyone got to be a chef and a waiter. We enjoyed the lovely sandwiches and treats.
