5th/6th Class Blitz
The children in 5th and 6th class took part in a football blitz. It was great to back to outdoor fun activities after many years.

Football County Champions 2014!!
It was an all Kilrush affair in the school girls division 3 football final. St Senan’s were lining out against their next door neighbours Gaelscoil Uí Choimín.
The scene was set and every child from both schools looked on with excitement. It was a furious start with St Senan’s blasting a goal in the first minute which was closely followed by a goal for the Gaelscoil. Both sides exchanged points and then a very skillful goal from the St Senan’s full forward opened it up again but this wasn't going to be taken lightly as it was cancelled out by a suberb goal by the Gaelscoil. At half time it was 2:2 a piece with all to play for.
The second half resumed with some great teamwork from the Gaelscoil but it was St Senan’s that began to show their superiority. Four goals in quick concession saw St Senan’s plough ahead. This was followed by a great point which sealed the deal for this very strong team. Joint captains for St Senan’s were delighted to accept the winners shield on behalf of the winning team. It was a great team effort with very strong performances throughout the field.
